Animal Nutrition

  • Estimation of proximate composition in feeds and anti nutritional factors in neem (triterpenoids such as azadirachtin, nimbin and salannin) seed cake using analytical HPLC.
  • Processing of feeds such as detoxification of toxins in neem seed cake by physical and chemical methods.
  • Conducted indoor grazing experiments with sheep to evaluate the effects of detoxified neem seed cake.

  • Qualified in National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturership /Assistant professorship in the professional subject Bio-Chemistry (Animal Science) conducted by Agricultural Scientists recruitment board (ICAR), New Delhi, India; in June 2004.
  • Awarded Senior Research Fellowship for doctoral studies (2003-2007) by securing 1strank at all India level PhD (Animal Biochemistry) entrance examination conducted by National Dairy Research Institute, India.
